Sunday Farmer's Market

There are two great farmers markets in Ojai, one on Thursday in the late afternoon and early evening (complete with folk music and kids romping around), and a larger one on Sunday mornings. I like a small, well-edited farmers market and this one hits all the right notes. There are good meat vendors, one fish stall, lots of vegetables and citrus, some bread and preserves, two stalls with good florals, a date specialist, and the occasional pop-up station where a poet will write you a poem on typewriters.
