The 11-room hotel was inspired by an old, quaint, and kooky fantasy village called Barrow’s Green with touches of Americana, a dash of maximalism, and a few heaping cups of 19th century design. Every room has its own character and nearly everything is shoppable, so you can bring a piece of Barrow’s Green home with you. Over the past decade, there’s been a proliferation of Upstate getaways. But none have the creative whim and time-capsule charm of The Six Bells. I highly recommend the detour!
